Does District Cover require loss control inspections?
Yes, for certain risks. Inspections typically occur after binding and must be ordered within 5 business days and completed within 60 days.
Process and Requirements
- Notification: If a post-bind inspection is necessary, the subproducer will be informed through the quote flow, a coverage subjectivity in the Quote Letter, and a subsequent email after the policy is bound.
- Execution: Subproducers must use their existing vendors and operational processes to meet the inspection requirements. District Cover can make recommendations to vendors as necessary.
- Reporting Completion: Once the inspection is completed, the subproducer must inform District Cover at help@districtcover.com that the process is complete and whether any actions are required to satisfy District Cover’s inspection requirements.
- Non-compliance: Failure to complete the inspections within the 60-day timeframe requires sending a non-compliance notice and cancellation request to District Cover.
